RuinFalls is a new Christian rock band featuring guitarist Mike Buza, bassist/multi-instrumentalist Rob Gregg, drummer/percussionist Luis Perez, and lead singer Steve Ungerbueler.
RuinFalls was formed out of the convictions of the band’s members to write and play truly unique music that glorifies God and engages listeners. Luis and Rob have a long history as friends and bandmates (having previously played together in Dreamer and The Faith), and with the addition of friend, brother, and super-diverse lead guitarist Mike Buza, the band has been crafting some genuinely dynamic, melodic rock music. Much of the band’s new music features non-traditional instrumentation including the hammered dulcimer, tinwhistle, mandolin, and bodhran, while maintaining a heavy-driving sound.
Lead singer Steve Ungerbueler recently joined the band, and the guys have been working on new songs, arrangements, and harmonies, as well as looking for a second bassist/guitarist (and hopefully keyboardist) to complete the lineup. The Lord willing, the final lineup will be in place soon and RuinFalls will begin playing live, recording, and generally having fun praising God in whatever they do.
